I rather like this quote about plastic surgery
Y'know how they've Asker's Choose,Ray Ban UK Sale.? I wish I could give you Answerer's Choose. I've a sturdy dislike for these cosmetic travesties and denials of self - it truly is beyond me in as a great deal as is racism and discrimination, hate-mongering and psychoses. I've struggled with weight and I've learned to accept myself - even nonetheless am I plagued by anxieties, but I can appear upon my visage sans regret or disdain in the mirror and ignore the ill-favor and flagrancy of other's opinions. I am flawed in some points, excel in other individuals, I'm just me - and I'm content to become that.
Whereas a great deal more generally are we seeing individuals obsessed with hunting thinner and younger and trying to cease the aging approach altogether which is just as truthfully not possible. Cuts and slices and stretches to so-called perfection. Individuals do not need to appear like aliens however which is all they end up looking like IMHO. It sickens and saddens me deeply and greatly.
I've a co-worker who had her chins and neck liposuctioned, her droopy eyelids lifted, her face lifted, her stomach liposuctioned (she bragged they punched a brand new belly button following removing plenty of fat and skin), her thighs and rear end liposuctioned. She went in a size 16 and came out a size 2. She died her brown hair blond and wore sexy clothing. She looked about 30 years old and attracted a large amount of young males. They soon disappeared after they learned she had grandchildren by youngsters their age or older. Ten years later it has all worn off and she now looks a great deal older than she essentially is, which can be 63. All that pain and economic expense and wasted time, for what?
We are each and every born with particular family members capabilities, passed down for generations. I for 1 would prefer to resemble myself when I leave this earth.
My problem with this quote is the fact that it comes from Robert Redford, whom I feel many people (esp. girls) would agree won the 'genetic lottery' within the looks division.
It's very easy for someone who began out drop-dead gorgeous to say "Oh, just age gracefully" than it can be for a person who began out short, big-nosed and goofy-looking to then gracefully accept crows' feet, middle-age spread, and thinning hair.
I'm not saying that I'd ever resort to plastic surgery (heck, I hate even combing my hair), but I'm a bit leery of tips from someone who has no viewpoint around the matter.
